About the Program
Theater is about so much more than singing, acting, and dancing- there really is something for everyone. Theatre education has been shown to not only help with social and communication skills, but has been linked to higher test scores and overall achievement as well as improved self esteem.
We hope to help each student find what makes them shine, and in turn find confidence and courage in all other aspects of their lives.

Our yearly Youth Musical is the perfect opportunity for students in 3rd-12th grade to get on the Granite Stage.
Not only do students learn a show and all the elements that go into creating that show, but through the process, they develop confidence, social skills, and creative thinking skills, as well as the tools necessary to work as a team.
All students who audition will be cast in a role.
This program is $300. Scholarships are available. Please reach out to ndimattei@granitetheatre.org for information on scholarships.

101 Dalmatians Summer Camp, grades 3rd-12th
M-F, August 4-15th with shows on the 9th, 16th, and 17th
Based on the classic animated film, Disney's 101 Dalmatians KIDS is a fur-raising adventure featuring Cruella De Vil, Disney's most outrageous villain, and 101 of the most adorable heroes to set their paws onstage. With a high-spirited score and lovable characters, this stage adaptation is certain to charm and delight all audiences.
Pet owners, Roger and Anita, live happily in London with their Dalmatians, Pongo and Perdita, stalwart dogs devoted to raising their puppies. Everything is quiet until Anita's former classmate, the monstrous Cruella De Vil, plots to steal the puppies for her new fur coat. The Dalmatians rally all the dogs of London for a daring rescue of the puppies from Cruella and her bumbling henchmen.
Camp will be daily from 9:00a - 3:00p for students entering 3rd through 12th grade.
For Kindergarten through 2nd graders, see week two option.
A small performance after WEEK 1 will be held for at the Mystic Outdoor Art Festival on Saturday, August 9th. The full performances of "101 Dalmatians" will be held on August 16th and 17th.
